Got Ears?® Plugfones Racing Fan Isolation Earphones are designed specifically to be used to safely listen to a scanner or radio while watching a NASCAR or other noisy motorsports event. Plugfones work great for mowing the yard too! The earpieces are made of replaceable foam earplugs (or reusable soft silicone earplugs) that surround the speakers in your ears providing the perfect combination of noise protection, all day comfort and scanner audio or music right in your ear. The ear plugs keep out ambient noise so you can adjust your device to a safe volume level and still hear the scanner or your music perfectly. Note: Rockets earplugs are long-lasting, but not replaceable. Our Got Ears?® Plugfones Racing Fan kit includes a 3.5mm mono to stereo adapter, a 2.5mm to 3.5mm adapter for use with scanners or radios equipped with a 2.5mm jack, and a two-prong airline adapter for use in listening to music on the plane while you are in route to the event. Note: Plugfones are not yet rated for NRR, but we estimate they will reduce noise by about 1/3, making them effective for noise levels up to 100 - 105 dB. NRR testing results are in process.
