3M 8577 Particulate Respirator Details The 3M 8577 P95 provides at least 95% filtration efficiency against both oil and non-oil based particulate, plus relief from nusiance levels of organic vapors such as those from resins, degreasers, and solvents. Suggested applications include foundry operations, petrochemical manufacturing, agriculture, lab settings, and other applications where nuisance levels of organic vapors are present. 3M's advanced electrostatic media allows free and easy breathing, while the Cool Flow™ valve keeps the interior cooler and more comfortable. The cup-shaped design is durable, holding up against heat and humidity longer. When workers need a respirator for use in hot/humid conditions, particularly for extended wear, the 8577 is a great choice. The longer each mask lasts, the more costs are lowered. 3M 8577 respirators are comfortable, with braided headbands and adjustable M-noseclips for improving the fit and faceseal, preventing glasses from fogging, and keeping the mask in place. The interior lining is also soft, and the cup-shaped face mask feels spacious. All this enhanced comfort helps increase wearability. The 3M 8577 is recommended for undercoating, petrochemical manufacturing, agriculture, lab settings, foundry operations, and other operations in which nuisance levels of organic vapors are present.
