3M 8233 Particulate Respirator Details The 3M 8233 N100 provides NIOSH's highest rated filtration efficiency (99.97%) against non-oil based particulate. This makes these respirators an excellent choice for lead abatement, pharmaceutical manufacturing, welding, and working around substance specific regulated particles including lead, cadmium, and arsenic. (Not for use with asbestos exposures.) Lined with soft inner material, the mask facilitates an excellent faceseal, while the cup design makes the mask both spacious to wear and more durable to use. 3M's Cool Flow® valve vents away exhaled heat far better than an unvalved respirator. Together with this exhalation valve, the 3M's electrostatic microfiber filter media helps keep the mask cool and comfortable to wear for longer periods of time, even in hot and humid conditions. And the longer a disposable respirator lasts, the more money it saves. The 3M 8233 is as comfortable as it is effective. The cup design is spacious. The face seal is soft. The noseclip is customizable and prevents eyewear from fogging. The straps are fully adjustable. The masks are disposable and therefore completely maintenance free.
